Proud Marine Corps Veteran
A testament to discipline, leadership, and camaraderie.
Radar Chief Responsibilities
As Radar Chief, I served as the Operations Manager for a high-tempo maintenance facility, bridging the gap between technical execution and administrative strategy. I directed the daily operations of the AN/TPS-80 radar systems, balancing hands-on diagnostics with the oversight of personnel scheduling, supply chain coordination, and regulatory compliance. By implementing rigorous preventive maintenance schedules and streamlining administrative workflows, I significantly reduced equipment downtime and improved internal transparency. This dual focus ensured that the unit not only met strict readiness reporting standards but also maintained a constant state of operational availability across diverse theaters.
Instructor Role
As a certified Instructor, I led the technical and professional development of over 540 Marines, delivering more than 3,000 hours of formal instruction on complex radar systems and tactical employment. This role required more than just subject matter expertise; it demanded the ability to translate dense technical data into actionable knowledge. By developing rigorous curricula and emphasizing operational realism, I ensured that students graduated with not only technical proficiency but also the critical judgment and accountability necessary to operate effectively in high-stakes, high-pressure environments.
Leadership Development
My tenure in the Marine Corps was a crucible that forged a leadership philosophy grounded in accountability and resilience. Beyond the discipline required to execute missions in high-stakes environments, I learned that authentic leadership is an act of service—prioritizing the team's needs above my own and 'leading from the front' to establish a standard of excellence. This period also revealed the transformative power of mentorship; whether guiding Marines through rigorous technical training or providing counsel on personal development, I witnessed how investing in human capital drives collective success. Today, these experiences serve as my professional bedrock, allowing me to navigate ambiguity with confidence and empower those around me to exceed their potential.

Psychology of Money
Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey
Stephen Covey’s "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" presents a comprehensive framework for personal and professional effectiveness based on character ethics rather than superficial personality fixes. The book guides the reader through a maturity continuum, starting with dependence and moving toward independence through the Private Victory, which involves habits like being proactive and beginning with the end in mind. It then progresses to interdependence, or the Public Victory, where success is built on mutual benefit and empathic understanding. Finally, the framework is sustained by the seventh habit of self renewal, ensuring that individuals continuously preserve and enhance their physical, mental, and spiritual well being to maintain a balanced and principled life.

How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie
Dale Carnegie’s classic work serves as a practical guide to navigating human relationships and developing leadership skills by focusing on others' fundamental psychological needs. The book outlines core principles for handling people, such as avoiding criticism and offering sincere appreciation. It provides actionable strategies to make others like you, including simple habits like smiling and remembering names. Carnegie emphasizes that winning people to your way of thinking is best achieved by avoiding arguments, showing respect for opposing opinions, and allowing others to save face. Ultimately, the text argues that professional and personal success relies heavily on one's ability to communicate with empathy, listen actively, and inspire others without creating resentment.
